 The company

The Stones Hotel is a family owned hotel in the heart of Wiltshire offering 5 modern function rooms with the capacity to host up to 300 guests and boasts 44 luxury bedrooms.  We provide an onsite bar and restaurant that serves seasonal and locally sourced food and are looking for someone to help us on our journey towards achieving an AA rosette in 2020.  The establishment of a cottage garden, our own well using an eco-pure filter system, an outdoor gin bar and achieving the silver award in green tourism is just the start of our journey towards a more sustainable future, notwithstanding our biomass heating system.

KITCHEN

Job role: Chef de Partie £19K – £22K

Requirements:

  • The ideal Candidate will have experience in professional kitchens
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef Qualifications are essential
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is also advantageous but not essential
  • Have own transport due to location
  • Have high standards in personal hygiene
  • Have current health and safety qualifications
  • Be punctual, reliable and love working as a team
  • Rosette experience desirable

Job role: Demi-Chef de Partie £16K – £17.250K

Requirements:

  • The ideal Candidate will have experience in professional kitchens
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is also advantageous but not essential
  • Have own transport due to location
  • Have high standards in personal hygiene
  • Have current health and safety qualifications
  • Be punctual, reliable and love working as a team
  • Rosette experience desirable
  • 1 years minimum experience in a professional kitchen

Job role: Commis chef   £15.5K

Requirements:

  • The ideal Candidate will have experience in professional kitchens
  • The capacity and willingness to learn
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is also advantageous but not essential
  • Have own transport due to location
  • Have high standards in personal hygiene
  • Be punctual, reliable and love working as a team
  • Potential to gain an NVQ in City and Guilds
  • Progression through the company

Job role: Kitchen Porter £15.5K

Requirements:

  • The ideal Candidate will have experience in professional kitchens
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Have own transport due to location
  • Have high standards in personal hygiene
  • Be punctual, reliable and love working as a team

Job role: Sous Chef £24K – £28K

Requirements:

  • The ideal Candidate will have experience in professional kitchens
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure

FRONT OF HOUSE

Job role: Food and Beverage Assistant

You will be responsible for working in the following areas; Bar, Restaurant, function area, predominantly looking after our Christmas joiner parties.

Requirements:

  • The ideal Food and Beverage Assistant will have experience in customer facing role.
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Bar experience is a advantageous but not essential
  • Have own transport due to location
  • Have high standards in personal hygiene
  • Be punctual, reliable and love working as a team
